For those of you that don't know, this is like the powerbrace that is popular on 240's. It goes between the frame rails, connecting at the tension rod brackets to basically box off the frame. I was very intereted in this item because I thought it was a logical step after installing tension rods. Installing aftermarket tension rods eliminating the stock rubber bushings, your moving all force onto this section of the frame, so It makes sense to brace this section. Although this bar may not be the best design to do that, its basically the only option available right now. I don't know if there is enough clearance to have a powerbrace made for the Z, but if there is that would be a much better design. Anyhow, I got it from C-Tune, which is four blocks away from my house, for $40. I bought it off ebay not knowing it was from them. Very easy to install. My first impression is that it does very little. I do feel a difference, but nothing huge. You have to really pitch the car hard into a turn to feel it. It does react a bit quicker with a hard jerk of the wheel, but with casual turns, I felt no difference. Will see how it feels in the autox. For $40, I think its worth a try!

It cannot be seen once the service cover is back on.
